Colombian television programs TeleAntioquia Noticias and TeleAntioquia Global aired an hour-long news program called "Migracion y Fronteras." The program provides a thorough review of the history of immigration in the United States, recent changes in policies and procedures, and an up-to-date review of the immigration debate. This policy review takes into consideration the increase in migrant deaths as a result of US border policy changes in the early 1990s, and the development of the border region on both sides of the wall, including perspectives of humanitarian groups and issues related to human smuggling as well. In it, the program interviews Gustavo Arango, among others, who offers his expert opinions on immigration in addition to his own personal experiences immigrating to the US. Gustavo's interview is included in Part 3 below.
